Explore a peaceful park dotted with the Medieval era tombs rooted in history, greenery and aestheticism. Located away from the hustle bustle of the city the park today known as Lodi Garden was laid out in the year 1936 around four monuments built during the Lodi dynasty in the 15th-16th century, the last dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate.The garden complex has been renovated a few times over the period of time, the remains seen today give a glimpse of a beautiful skyline created by these tombs on the ladscape of the city of Delhi. The complex was known as Lady Willington park pre independence and was renamed as Lodi Garden post independence.
